TV Chefs - welcome to our website

TV Chefs

TV chefs or celebrity chefs are people who have become well known for their cooking on TV or in the printed press. The term TV chef or celebrity chef grew in popularity during the 1990s and accompanied a growth of television channels and concomitant popularity of cookery programmes.

On you can view biographies for all the top chefs including the likes of the Michelin starred Gordon Ramsay, Jamie Oliver and Nigella Lawson. As well as chef biographies we also offer you some mouth watering recipes.

Many of the TV chefs featured on have their own television programmes, have had their own reality shows and also written many books. As well as contemporary chefs, we also remember classic TV chefs such as Keith Floyd and Delia Smith. A number of our chefs have been dubbed TV chefs without working long term in the restaurant industry. These include Nigella Lawson and Delia Smith.

Chefs that we feature include Raymond Blanc, Heston Blumenthal, Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall, Antony Worrall Thompson, James Martin, Rick Stein and Gary Rhodes to name a few. For a full list see our TV chefs page.
